The Orlando Roofing Company With the Owner on Your Roof

Burnes Roofing Company, LLC is a family-owned Orlando roofing company serving Central Florida and the Space Coast. Tommy Burnes, the owner, inspects your roof himself, writes the estimate himself, and runs the crew that does the work. No commissioned salespeople, no hand-offs, no wondering who is responsible.

Shingle, tile, metal and TPO flat roofs. Repairs, leak calls, full re-roofs and new construction, for homeowners and commercial buildings alike. Every estimate is free, written, and documented with photos of what we actually found up there.

The Services

What we do

Every service below runs the same way: the owner looks at the roof, tells you the truth about it, and stands behind the work. None of that is marketing language. The license number is searchable on Florida's contractor registry, and the certifications are the manufacturers' own programs.

Roof Repair

Wind-lifted shingles, cracked pipe boots, flashing gaps and storm damage, fixed with materials matched to your roof system. If a repair will hold, that is what we recommend, because selling you a roof you do not need is a one-job strategy and we are building a referral business.

Roof Repair in Orlando

Roof Leak Repair

The stain on your ceiling marks where the water exits, not where it enters. We trace the leak to its actual entry point, fix that, and tarp storm damage fast so the inside of your house stops paying for the weather.

Roof Replacement

Full tear-off re-roofs, down to the deck. Bad wood gets photographed and replaced, never covered over, and the new roof goes on to current Florida code with a 5-year workmanship warranty behind it.

Roof Replacement in Orlando

Roof Installation

New construction roofing and full installations for homes across Central Florida. On a build, the roof sits in the middle of everyone's schedule; we show up when the framing is ready and get the dry-in done so the rest of the trades can move.

Metal Roofing

Standing seam and metal panel roofs, whole homes or porch and entry accents. Metal costs more up front and often earns it back over decades of Florida sun; you get the honest math for your house, not a pitch.

Commercial Roofing

TPO and flat systems for retail, office and warehouse buildings, from seam repairs to full re-roofs, including buildings that combine shingle and flat sections under one contract and one responsible crew.

The owner is on your roof, not just on the invoice

Most roofing companies send a salesperson to your kitchen table and a crew you have never met to your roof. Burnes Roofing is built differently on purpose. Tommy is the contractor, the owner and the field specialist, and he is on every job, watching every step of the roofing process.

That structure shows up in the details customers keep mentioning: estimates that match the final work, crews that clean up so thoroughly you would not know they were there, and straight answers even when the honest answer is that your roof does not need us yet.

It also means accountability has a name and a phone number. When you have a question mid-job, you are not calling a branch office to leave a message for a supervisor who has never seen your house. You are calling the person who priced the work, ordered the materials, and will be standing on the roof when it goes on.

"Tommy gave us an estimate and it was on point. They installed the roof at the time he said the would and more importantly they cleaned up afterwards. They were professional and efficient."

How it works

Call or write.

Tell us what the roof is doing and where the house sits. Tommy usually meets new customers on site within 24 to 48 hours of the first call.

Inspection with photos.

The roof, the attic when there is access, and pictures of everything worth seeing, shared with you. You see the evidence behind the recommendation, not just the recommendation.

A written estimate.

Plain line items for exactly what gets done and what it costs. Then, if you say yes, the owner runs the job to the finish, county inspection and cleanup included.

When storm season shows up

Central Florida roofs live on a schedule the weather writes: months of sun that bake the materials, then a summer of daily storms that test every seam the heat loosened. When a storm gets through, the order of operations matters. Call as soon as it is safe. If the roof is open, we tarp it first so your ceilings stop taking on water, then do the permanent repair once the weather clears.

Everything gets photographed along the way. If you decide to involve your insurance company, that documentation gives your adjuster a clean, dated record of the damage. We repair roofs; we do not negotiate claims, and every decision about filing stays with you. No fabricated damage, no scare tactics, no pressure on the worst week your roof has ever had.

Commercial and flat roofing, done in-house

Flat and low-slope roofs are a specialty here, not a sideline. We install and repair TPO membrane systems on commercial buildings across Central Florida, and property managers keep our number because the response is fast and the same owner answers every time. If your building mixes a shingle storefront with a flat rear section, we handle both under one contract.

"I have used Burnes Roofing for both commercial and residential roofs. Tommy Burnes is honest and responsive. All projects have been delivered as promised. I would highly recommend Burnes Roofing for your next project!!"

The Reviews

What Orlando homeowners say

Every quote below is a real Google review, word for word. The themes repeat because the process repeats: honest estimates, the owner on site, and a clean yard when the crew rolls out.

"Tommy replaced 4 roofs for me that previous installers had done incorrectly and caused leaks over the years. I had 5 other companies look at these roofs and the companies that didn't tell me no gave me an outrageous price."
Logan Baker · Google Review (Excerpt)
"Not only are they competitive in pricing, the quality and efficiency is top notch. They were in and out, professional, and the clean up was as if they were not there at all. Highly recommend!"

Questions people ask before they call

Is the estimate really free?

Yes, and it comes with photos of what we found so you can see the reasoning behind the number. No pressure, no obligation, and if the roof is fine, we tell you that too.

Do I need a repair or a whole new roof?

It depends on the pattern of the damage, and that is exactly what the inspection answers. Isolated damage on a roof with life left is a repair. Leaks that keep moving around an aging roof start the replacement conversation. Either way, the recommendation follows the photos, not a sales quota.

Who actually shows up at my house?

Tommy Burnes, the owner. He does the inspection, writes the estimate and runs the crew on the job. His name is on the company, so his name is on your roof.

Do you handle business properties too?

Yes. Commercial flat and TPO roofing is a specialty, from small repairs to full re-roofs, and buildings that combine shingle and flat sections can be handled under one contract.

How do you keep prices fair?

Burnes Roofing runs without the overhead a big roofing corporation carries: no commissioned sales team, no middlemen, no branch offices baked into your quote. You pay for the roof and the crew that builds it. Customers regularly mention that our estimate compared well against bigger companies for the same scope, and the price on the estimate is the price.

How fast can work start?

The estimate moves quickly: Tommy usually meets new customers on site within 24 to 48 hours of the call. From there, the start date depends on materials and the Florida forecast, and you get a real timeline with your estimate rather than a promise the weather has not agreed to. Many single-family re-roofs finish within a few days once work begins.
